I've been to The Lodge quite a few times over the years. It hasn't been very consistent. A couple times I have been its great. Fun crowd, friendly staff and then there are other times I've gone and the service was terrible and the food wasn't fresh. Great place to watch sports if you can get a good spot. The bar is too small for how busy they get sometimes.
Pros:
Fun crowd and they usually run drink and shot specials. Very nice outside patio!
Cons:
Food is reasonable priced but not always the best quality, especially the salads.

The Lodge does a great job with having a restaurant with great food and then converting to a great nightlife atmosphere. Many places try to do this but The Lodge does it right. The prices here are great expecially for the location in the heart of Hyde Park.
Pros:
Restaurant during the day with a good nightlife atmosphere. Food is great and they outdoor patio is a good option with the misters for hot days.

they have the best thursday night ladies night in south tampa! $5 Martini's-- luvin it! super cool atmosphere. always have great DJ's!!
