The atmosphere is a little awkward as they were blasting country music on speakers meant for a small area so it didn't sound good. The food was good and the sauces were good which felt like good ole southern cooking. There are better options around town for southern food but the location and the fact that they stay open late make them a good option at the end of the night.

Anything tastes good when you drench it in bbq sauce. The owner is a complete jerk. I asked for a small sample to make sure I liked what I was about to buy. He commented "what do you think this is...McDonalds...try before you buy?" He also told the person behind me that "it didn't matter what they got, because in 15 min, the place would be packed on their one order doesn't matter". If you like crappy service and subpar food, then eat here. If you like nice people, decent food and a clean kitchen, go eat somewhere else. In this economy, the owner should feel greatful that people are eating at his venue. Instead, the ego of the owner is anything but southern hospitality. If you see a fat white guy named Tony aka Bama, you'll know who I'm talking about.

DO NOT EAT HERE! The last time I ate here, the owner was completely disrespectful. He was yelling in my face and using profanities. He should never treat a customer, not to mention a woman the way he did. I will NEVER eat here ever again and support him or his business. I encourage you to do the same.

I saw two cockroaches run from the counter where the register is when I was leaving (thank goodness I saw this after I ordered otherwise I would have left). Also, the owner was cleaning the peanut shells off the table with a broom and dust pan that is used for the floor.
