The Gasparilla International Film Festival (GIFF) is Tampa Bays largest independent film festival and is held annually during Gasparilla. The film festival showcases independent films from all genres and draws filmmakers from around the world.

Now in its 7th year, the Gasparilla International Film Festival has grown to be one of the most reputable and entertaining film festivals in the Tampa Bay area.
The festival will feature more than 50 films shown at locations throughout Tampa including CinéBistro, Muvico Ybor and the Tampa Theatre. Films this year include Save the Date, Searching for Sonny, Marti the Eye of the Canary, Nice Guys FInish Last, and many more.
