The USF Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of William W. Wiedrich, continues its exciting season. The program begins with a stunning favorite, Aaron Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man, followed by an exciting and unusual world premiere featuring Professor of Tuba Jay Hunsberger in David Carlson's CONCERTO for Nine Strings, Amplified Harp, and Tuba. Rachmaninoff's lush and epic Second Symphony closes the program.
