At the Florida Hospital IMAX® DOME Theatre, scenes shot with IMAX cameras will expand up to a 1.9:1 aspect ratio – delivering audiences 26% more of the image than standard theatres.

J.J. Abrams shot portions of Star Wars: The Force Awakens with IMAX® cameras. Only in IMAX® theatres will these sequences expand vertically to fill the entire screen, providing moviegoers with even greater scope and breathtaking image quality for a truly immersive experience.
