Start your Gasparilla celebration early at the Gasparilla-themed, Mount Gay Rum pairing dinner, held at Council Oak Lounge in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.
In advance of the always popular Gasparilla Pirate Fest weekend, Council Oak Lounge in Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa will host a Gasparilla-themed, Mount Gay Rum pairing dinner on Thursday, January 28.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a Fountain of Youth/Mount Gay Eclipse Silver-themed cocktail reception, followed by an innovative four-course meal at 7 p.m. featuring the following themes/Mount Gay offerings – Black Pearl/Mount Gay Black Barrel; Council Oaks XO Sidecar/Mount Gay XO; Mount Gay 1703; and Hot Buttered Rum/Mount Gay Eclipse Gold.
Each guest who attends will receive a bottle of Mount Gay XO Extra Old.
Tickets (at $180 per person) are available for sale by calling (813-627-6630). Space is limited.
Seminole Hard Rock Tampa is in the midst of a three-year run as title sponsor of the Gasparilla Pirate Fest, which is scheduled for January 29-30. The event will feature the Gasparilla Invasion and Parade of the Pirates, presented by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, as well as the Gasparilla Pirate Fest Street Festival.
