The USF Wind Ensemble will be presenting its first concert of the new academic year on Sunday, October 2, at 2:00 pm in the School of Music Concert Hall.

The USF Wind Ensemble will be presenting its first concert of the new academic year on Sunday, October 2, at 2:00 pm in the School of Music Concert Hall. Our concert is entitled "The Journey" and features a new symphony for wind band based upon a truncated version of the Odyssey. The name of the symphony is Wine-Dark Sea, and it was written by John Mackey. Other selections to be included are Andrea Chenier by Giordano, March with Trumpets by Bergsma, and the wind band masterwork Suite Francaise by Milhaud.
