Join Us for the Welcome Home Heroes Service Project&Get a Disney Day!

Remember those teddy bears we collected at our Holiday Party?  We will be distributing them to some of the children of the 1,100 Marines who plan to attend the Welcome Home Heroes Event put on by James Haley VA Hospital.  In addition to teddy bears, EMPOWERED members will also set up a face painting booth.  This is a great opportunity for you to get involved in your community and serve the service men and women who serve our country.  As an added bonus, if you participate with EMPOWERED you will be eligible to receive a free day pass to Disney!  Details on how to get the ticket will be emailed to you once you've signed up for the project.

If you cannot attend the event, but would still like to donate a teddy bear to be given to a child of a Marine, EMPOWERED will be accepting donations at the Tampa ARC office through Thursday, March 11th.
