BGR is one of many gourmet chains that have popped up in Tampa Bay. BGR has some interesting burger choices including a lamb burger that is actually pretty tasty. I think for me though, a traditional burger is best. They have one of those advanced soda machines with over 500 flavors - which is pretty cool. The owner is a very frank and interesting person - the staff is also very friendly and welcoming. BGR won the people's choice last year at the Burger Showdown for their Wellington Burger which is made with truffle mushrooms and blue cheese. I find that burger to be better without the blue cheese. BGR faces stiff competition up Dale Mabry, but the owner claims they are here to stay for the long haul.
