I had heard how amazing Chicken and Waffles are but have never tried them until now. Tampa Luv Chicken & Waffles is certainly a place to add to your list of restaurants to check out. All the food was made to order, fresh and amazing. I had the lunch special which was two pieces of chicken on top of a big waffle. But I really wanted to try the fries and grits too, so I shared them with some friends. The food had an amazing flavor, a little bit of sweet to the fried salty flavor you normally find with fried chicken and french fries. The staff was very friendly and took the time to tell us all about their menu. They even let us try their banana pudding that they are thinking of adding to the menu. I will be back as I want to also try the chicken tender waffle sandwich!

Cons: The location isn't very conveniently for me as I work in Downtown Tampa and there is very little reason for me to head to that area of Tampa.

Tampa Luv Chicken is a pretty Southern loving place. I tried their fried chicken and waffles on National Fried Chicken Day and it was pretty good - albeit a slight bit greasy. The cashier was very friendly, as was the owner and gave me a positive image of the restaurant. They are open late in a town and that alone should give them a bump in a town where late-night eats are hard to come by. In addition, prices are very affordable with an order of chicken, waffles, and two cokes coming to less than $7 - you can replace your KFC or Popeye's visit with Tampa Luv Chicken anyday. I am very interested in trying their ice cream waffles - a currently popular dessert outside the USA. Overall, Tampa Luv Chicken keeps it simple and is certainly worth a look.

Probably one of the best meals in recent memory. Chicken is cooked to order. Just the site of it is mouthwatering. Then you bite in and realize these guys really know what they're doing. It feels like robbery with how little you pay for a meal this great. An authentic, Tampa gem I really hope stays around for a while.

Pros: Absolutely delicious fried chicken - Crunchy outside and super-juicy on the inside. The waffles are tasty too. Huge, fluffy, sweet.

Cons: Like Scott, it's just far away me.
