Description:
Featuring over 1,600 animals, water play areas, rides, shows, and restaurants. Open daily 9:30am - 5pm. There are also several annual events held at the zoo such as Summer Safari Night, Red, White, & Zoo, Wazoo, ZooBoo, and more which may offer different hours. The zoo also has educational camps, Zoo School, and more for children to learn and enjoy.

Comments:
The zoo itself is a great family place and offers a lot of learning and fun for kids. On the other hand, Wazoo is their annual Beer Festival which offers a chance for adults to enjoy the zoo in a different light. I have attended several Wazoo's and I might say the beer selection is great (a lot of micro brews) and the food is good as well. Just make sure to have a DD or safe ride home.

Great local zoo with lots to do.
