YES! of America United, Hillsborough County and Tampa Media Group (TBO.com) are proud sponsors of the upcoming 7th Annual YES! Family Abilities Information Rally (F.A.I.R.), on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the All People’s’ Life Center. Representatives from the Hillsborough County Commissioners County Commissioners will open the F.A.I.R. with a welcome and Proclamation. They will be joined by more than 200 community partners who will enrich, educate and empower the over 1300 expected attendees living with disabilities, their families and the general public.
The F.A.I.R. is a FREE family-friendly community event. We invite everyone to come out and be part of this event designed to help all people fully participate in our community. People of all ages and abilities can visit vendors with games and giveaways while having fun learning about programs, products and services useful to them.
All attendees will be highly encouraged to participate in the the electric slide. There will be singing, dancing, and music throughout the program. All activities are free.You can have a picture with Santa, visit and touch a fire truck, go to a petting zoo, see Clearwater Aquarium displays, donate blood, register to vote, play basketball with Gasparilla pirates, and visit with royalty or some friendly, playful mascots. Other activities at the F.A.I.R. include arts & crafts, bounce house, bowling, demos on sign language and Braille, new products in transportation & mobility, face painting, an obstacle course, wheelchair sports, live entertainment, door prizes and a silent auction with lots of unique items. Food will be available for purchase.
