Love craft beer? Join us for an evening of craft beer, local vendors, and science. Proceeds benefit the Student Sections of the Society of Women Engineers and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Sampling Science: The Engineering Behind Craft Beer returns for another great pour! Nielsen is hosting the 2nd annual beer tasting and lecture series event on Friday, February 5th, 2016 from 6:30 PM to 10 PM at their facility in Oldsmar, Florida. The proceeds from this event will benefit the Student Chapters of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers at the University of South Florida.
This year’s event will feature over twenty local craft breweries pouring some of their tantalizing brews. Learn about all aspects of brewing during one of the interesting beer talks occurring throughout the evening. Last year’s event topics ranged from barrel aging and fermentation to the history of brewing in America and the evolution of beer styles, and many more!
