I have been a huge fan of Green Iguana ever since I moved to Tampa. The Green Iguana Stadium location has its ups and down with me though. I love that it is one of the best sports bars near Raymond James Stadium and they throw tailgates and after parties on occasion but they also try to be something they are not. Green Iguana should stick to being known for great local live music. Feature more live bands on the patio and stray away from club promoters bringing in the wrong crowd. I highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner and maybe watching the game, but stay away from the late nights they try to pull off. We were watching a few late night football games and were interrupted by the DJ blasting his music to a bar full of sports fans and not night club part-goers. Know your audience. Stick to live music, sports, outdoor parties and great food.

The late night crowd when Green Iguana uses club promoters rather than operating the bar as a bar.
