The Singing Stone is honored to exhibit the artwork of Terry Andrews. The exhibit opens on May 4th and runs through June 1st, 2012. Nataly and Dan Balk, the owners of Singing Stone Gallery, welcome you to spend Friday evening with Terry from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. to showcase and discuss his current work. Light Hors-D'oeuvres and drinks will be offered.
Terry Andrews is a native Floridian from the Tampa area who's art work includes contemporary copper and fused glass sculptures. The fusing work is done in a kiln, then used as accent pieces on the formed, cut and welded copper structures. Some are then decorated with lamp-work glass to create a whimsical and unique treasure. These vibrant and dimensional art pieces are designed as wall sculptures or table top pieces for both indoor and outdoor display.
Andrews work can be found in the permanent collections of the Carter Center in Atlanta and the Carrolton Museum of Contemporary Art in Carrolton, GA. As an award-winning artist on the national art show circuit, his work has been acquired by collectors around the world.
