Singing Stone Gallery is proud to present a Christmas Couples Silver Jewelry Making Class taught by Dan Balk. The Tampa Gallery and Jewelry Studio is inviting friends, couples and partners to hand make jewelry in sterling silver. Participants discover new abilities to design and create jewelry under the guidance of a professional jeweler.
Throughout the month of December 2014, Dan Balk will be offering a special Christmas Couples Jewelry Making Class at a discount of $50.00 per pair. This private session is a great opportunity for participants to explore each others creative and artistic side as each makes a piece of jewelry or a unique holiday gift. Participants may customize their experience by creating a one of a kind pendant, ring, or ornament. The jewelry class concludes with complementary offerings of hot cocoa, wine and holiday treats.
Singing Stone owner, Dan Balk, has opened his jewelry studio for basic silversmithing classes. Jewelry classes are offered 6 days a week, Sunday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Dan's studio at The Singing Stone. No experience is needed. Reservations are required. Each class is approximately 4 hours long.
Students learn about jewelry in Dan Balk's fully equipped studio. Each class is private, enabling students to practice skills and techniques. With the discount, the class is $400.00 per pair, all supplies are included. Participants will go home with their finished piece.
In the Christmas Jewelry Making Class, couples will develop hands-on education in hand fabrication using raw materials. Participants will gain awareness and practice in shop safety, design, creating silver sheets and wires, soldering and forming, and metal cutting. Dan's classes focus on projects that students can complete and develop confidence.
