The Krewe of the Nautilus presents “Quest For Hope, The Ultimate Tampa Bay Scavenger Challenge"’ benefiting the Children’s Cancer Center, located here in Tampa. Only one team can win.
Do you have what it takes? Teams will compete for total points based on collections and actions. Armed with a Trolley card and a custom made Quest kit provided at registration, participants will pursue clues and perform zany tasks. Each item, clue and challenge in the Hunt will be assigned a point value and teams are scored based on their answers and collections. Teams are also scored based on participation in custom designed sponsor clues and challenges.
Location: The Quest includes challenges at 18 attractions, venues and historical landmarks in Ybor and Channelside to make it an unforgettable evening. Teams of 5 will embark on an adventure, jostling atop bars, performing drink challenges, haggling patrons at the venues, putting physical and search skills to the test and diving into a treasure trove of excitement, so consider yourself warned, this real world scavenger challenge is only for the hardiest and saviest.
Time: The challenge is on Saturday, May 17th starting at 6:00pm at Channelside Courtyard and goes until 10:00pm sharp ending at The Columbia Restaurant , where a fun filled finish line VIP party and celebrity judging will be held.
Details: The cost is $500 a team, which includes the amenities at each venue, team clue kit and food, drink and entertainment at the VIP party. Overall, first, second and third place prize awards. Also, prizes will be awarded for multiple categories to be determined. Deadline to register is May 12, 2008. The Quest for Hope is open to anyone and all you need is a giving heart!
