Guavaween is Tampa, Florida's largest Halloween event and is held in Ybor City. This fun filled event has people dressed up in all kinds of Halloween costumes enjoying the activities of the Guavaween festival. Guavaween is an all day event in the streets of Ybor City and the surrounding businesses that starts 3pm (many people show up before 3pm but they start charging to enter at 3pm). The event consists of fun in the streets with street vendors and carnival style games and food, live music, costume contests, the Mama Guava Stumble Parade, and much more!
Guavaween's most popular event, Mama Guava Stumble Parade, starts at 8pm and goes down the famous 7th Avenue of Ybor City. Floats, costumed characters and more delight the crowd by throwing beads and candy to onlookers.
Come out to Ybor the last Saturday of October, and celebrate the 2011 Mama Guava Stumble Parade!
