If you find yourself stranded, or worse, faced with the prospect of buzzed or drunk driving this upcoming Halloween, the folks at AAA and Bud Light are offering a free and safe alternative for getting to your desired destination.
It's called Tow to Go and will provide free confidential rides and a tow to a safe destination for people too intoxicated to drive. Since its inception back in 1998, Tow to Go has removed over 20,000 intoxicated drivers from the road according to a written statement from the organizations.
Your destination must be within a 10-mile radius and the service is free for both AAA members and nonmembers.
The Tow to Go program will be offered throughout the Tampa Bay area from Wednesday, October 31 through Saturday, November 3. AAA officials state that the service is based on the availability of service technicians and tow trucks. You can reach Tow to Go by calling (855) 2-TOW-2-GO or (855) 286-9246.
