While it may seem like any normal airport to some of us, Tampa International Airport has been widely revered as one of the best in the nation since it opened 30 years ago.
Publications like Conde Nast and organizations like J.D. Power and Associates have consistently praised T.I.A. for everything from its design to efficiency, customer service, and more.
Now, Tampa International Airport can add one more accolade to its list. CNNgo.com recently ranked the airport amongst its top 10 most loved in the world. Clocking in at number six, Tampa International ranked amongst a host of other international airports including Montevideo Carrasco in Montevideo Uruguay (#9); Zurich Airport in Zurich, Switzerland (#7); Munich Airport in Munich Germany (#4); and the number one most loved airport, Hong Kong International in Hong Kong.
The list, based on a CNN survey, awarded these airports based on characteristics including uniqueness and charm. CNNgo praised Tampa International Airport for its efficient design and wide variety of shops, boutiques, and restaurants.
