The Tampa Port Authority, or TPA, is the largest port in the state of Florida and strives to be the best port in the world.  Seeming to do just that with the maximization of the port’s use, the TPA holds a strong position in the community’s eyes.  Through Bulk Cargo, Foreign Trade Zone, Ship Building and Repair, Cruises and more, the TPA vastly helps the economic growth of the Tampa community.

The cruise lines that homeport at the TPA are Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America and Royal Caribbean.  Countless Tampa locals thrill in the fact that they can now depart on their cruise from their home city, alleviating the stress of having to fly or drive hours in order to depart.

The Tampa Port Authority helps those getting around Tampa and is continuing to grow. The TPA also has space for other businesses to utilize.  Helping the local economic growth, the TPA is more than just a necessity for Tampa, they are a welcomed landmark strengthening the community through their efforts and hard work.
