My Interests
I love to ride my bike. I'm currently refusing to buy a vehicle since gas prices are so high but I may cave soon just so I can get to the beach in a timely manner. I also might be buying a kayak so I'll need a little truck to tote that around in. I love pretty much everything: biking, hiking, kayaking, drinking, swimming, dancing, lounging, haven't surfed yet but I'm pretty sure that I'd love it. Tampa doesn't seem like the right place for that though so I definitely need a truck. :)
Music
I'm open to anything. I love trip-hop, techno, hip-hop, soul, jazz, blues, folk, raggaeton, etc. Top five: Portishead, Weekend Players, John Legend, Ween, Thievery Corporation, and Hot Chip.
Movies
This is so hard! Big Labowski, Royal Tenenbaums, Big Trouble in Little China, Ninja Panda, Little Miss Sunshine, BladeRunner, Willow, The Princess Bride, Goonies, Y tu mama tambien, and the list goes on and on.
TV
Don't really watch too much tv. I like House, Dexter, Sopranos, Flight of the Conchords, and a lot of the HBO shows. Curb your Enthusiasm was pretty good. Oh yeah! and then South Park and the Simpsons, you know, the classics!
Books
Just finished The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay which was a pretty good read (actually I loved it!). Just moved on to A Heartbreaking Tale of Staggering Genius which I'm flying through. I love the way this guy writes; it's as if someone is pulling thoughts out of my head and putting them to paper except with more fluidity and a better vocabulary. However, I'm not that egotisitc! one hopes. :)
