813area.com and its parent company MyAreaNetwork are proud to announce its newest partnership with emerging, Tampa-based startup accelerator group ICT Funds. Started by Tampa entrepreneur and Uhsome.com founder Chris Arnoldi, ICT Funds aims to utilize its vast assortment of resources to help technology businesses from Tampa and beyond achieve their goals and gain the skills needed for continued success. Whether it's a simple startup idea or an already established company, ICT Funds wants to connect and provide the resources individuals and organizations need to expedite the startup process. This includes a wide range of knowledge and services ranging from expert advice to internet marketing, product development, all the legal documents and know-how required to start a company, office space, and more. In exchange, ICT Funds will seek a negotiable amount of equity in participating startups' assets depending on a number of factors including company size, age, and worth. "ICT Funds is positioned perfectly, being that we have the marketing resources of uhsome.com, the working atmosphere of CoWorkTampa, and a variety of other valuable relationships at our very fingertips," said ICT Founder Chris Arnoldi.  "We've worked with clients all over the world, and those clients refer us new ones which is now taking our group to the next level." With this announcement, ICT Funds is also proud to announce its first three partnership companies; MyAreaNetwork (813area.com), GoToGuy, and Ndorsd, with three more ventures expected to be announced as early as next month. MyAreaNetwork, founded by Tampa internet entrepreneur Scott Conlon, owns and operates 80 local media and entertainment websites throughout the country.  Their flagship site, 813area.com has grown to be one of the most popular sources for nightlife, dining, and entertainment news in Tampa Bay area with over 130,000 visitors per month.  ICT Funds is lined up to provide design and finance expertise for MyAreaNetwork in the next few months. GoToGuy is a peer-to-peer recommendation engine which aims to reinvent the way you and your friends recommend things to each other online.  Gotoguy is expected to launch it's iPhone & Android app as soon as March.  The service is often compared to AngiesList, but free of cost and more social, officials say.  ICT Funds is assisting in product development and consulting. Ndorsd is the brainchild of local entrepreneur Chris Abbott, who hopes to connect athletes with various product placements. Currently, they're not willing to say much more than that, but expect some big things from these guys.   ICT Funds is creating the iPhone app in partnership with another fund, and an endorsement consulting firm, also based in Tampa.
