Whooshfly

Whooshfly is a patent-pending flight network similar to AirBnB and Uber, in the sense of sharing costs, but they do it with flights. Everyone deals with the aggravation of flying a commercial airline, making it a staple is most stand-up comic routines. Between the long lines, delayed flights, and lack of customer service the need for something new is surfacing.

Whooshfly is filling that need by providing us the ability to share private flights with friends or strangers to bring down the average cost and make flying a more pleasurable experience. Geared towards the millennial gen ideal of 'sharing and caring' the overall goal is to share the cost of a private plane, and to give people an option previously reserved for the wealthy.

Script

With technology being a part of everyday life, why not make it a part of your kids’ field trip experience? Script enables a less wieldy option for schools, giving them the ability to make field trips less about the paperwork and more about the fun! The Script app allows teachers to schedule and get approval for field trips and even send out permission slips and payment requests to parents. No more lost slips and kids forgetting to tell their parents about that form laying at the bottom of their backpack, now everyone can enjoy a much easier process thanks to Script.

Join Tampa Bay WaVe on May 23rd at The Attic Cafe for a casual night of networking and entrepreneurship. Listen to the pitches, let people know what you think and meet the movers and shakers changing the face of start-ups in Tampa Bay. Refreshments and beer will be available, with many opportunities to network.
