The American Victory Ship will host viewing of Tampa’s annual July 4th Fireworks aboard this historic World War II merchant steamship and national landmark, Tuesday, July 4, 2017, 6:30pm – 9:30pm.
The S.S. AMERICAN VICTORY offers the “best view in Tampa” for watching the celebrated fireworks display. The evening event features musical entertainment from DJ Ian Paul, a special Kids Zone with two face painters from 6:30-8:30pm, games, as well as arts and crafts.
Refreshments will be available for purchase from some of your favorite local food trucks! Beer and wine available as well.
Help celebrate Independence Day and raise funds for the maintenance and operation of the S.S. AMERCIAN VICTORY. Built in 1945, the S.S. AMERICAN VICTORY is one of only four operational World War II merchant steamships in the U.S. The ship is supported by public donations, special events, training services, educational activities and historical tours for children and adults.
