Before the title event, the undercard matches feature the WBA light heavyweight title fight. Champion Nathan Cleverly (30-1-3, 16 KOs) will defend his belt against Badou Jack (21-1-2, 12 KOs). Jack is a native of Sweden, he competed for Gambia in the 2008 Olympics and is a former WBC super middleweight champion.
In an IBF junior lightweight matchup, undefeated Gervonta Davis (18-0, 17 KOs), will fight to retain his belt against Costa Rica's Francisco Fonseca (19-0-1, 13 KOs). Also announced was a 10-round cruiserweight bought between Chicago's Andrew Tahbiti (14-0, 12 KOs) and Philadelphia's Steve Cunningham (29-8-1, 13 KOs).
