The Florida Aquarium announced today fans wearing University of South Florida Bulls Gear to the Aquarium will receive $10 off their admission to the Aquarium when they purchase tickets at their onsite ticket window!  Discounted Admission for USF Day at The Florida Aquarium is this Saturday, Feb 20th and begins at 9:30 am.  So grab your gear and get ready for a unique treat!

At 12:45 pm, in the Coral Reef Gallery, one of several Priceless Surprises planned for USF day at the Florida Aquarium includes Head Basketball Coach Jose Fernandez and Coach Matt Hill swimming with the sharks! THIS is going to be funny, and something you do not want to miss! 

 

USF Mascot Rocky D. Bull and members of the USF Spirit Squads will be on hand to cheer them on and take pictures with you, your family and friends!

 

For the past 20 years The Florida Aquarium's conservation research, field work, and partnerships directly helped preserve Florida’s diverse, life-sustaining coral reefs. Learn more about what they do this Saturday while enjoying discounted admission during USF Day!

Look for the newest resident at the Florida Aquarium the Great Blue Heron, an animal rescue, this stunning heron was added to the Wetlands Trail this week. Great Blue Herons are the largest species of heron in the world.  Found across most of North America, lucky for us, they reside year-round in Florida.

Ticket Prices:

  • General admission - $23.95 for adults,
  • Seniors ages 60 and up - $20.95
  • Kids ages 3 to 11 -  $18.95
  • Children 2 and younger -  Free

Parking is $6. Hours 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.

The Florida Aquarium is located in the Channelside District east of Downtown at 701 Channelside Dr., Tampa

It's a given, when we leave the Aquarium for some reason we are always HUNGRY, looking for Beach Drinks and fish!  After the Aquarium make plans to visit a nearby Sports Pub or Restaurant.
