This months featured artists are Lauren Rasch and Adam Graham. Rasch, a 28 year old Seminole Heights, paints with a surreal sensibility and often incorporates text, images, and eye-pleasing colors into her works. Graham, a St. Pete resident, is a Pinellas County School and USF teacher by day, has had his work featured at a number of notable art institutions are the area include the Tampa Art Museum and the Baisden Gallery.
The 2 For 2 event kicks off at 8 p.m. with bands playing at 10 p.m. This months musical lineup features Tampa country rockers, Urbane Cowboys and indie folkists, Tahoe Fox. Both of these groups are getting some good buzz around the area, so the musical end of the 2 For 2 definitely shouldn't be missed. Plus it's free!
In addition to great art and music, The Bricks will be serving up all their beloved gruband doling out the drinks from their full bar. Snack on a bird and pig sandwich, wash it down with a PBR and soak in some great art, both visually and audibly, at the Bricks 2 For 2 free show. Not a bad deal, friends.
The show is 18 and up, though. Sorry kiddies.
