If you're a parent with young kids living in Downtown Tampa, it seems like trick or treating could be a little tough with no houses, lots of business, and consequentially, few doors to knock on.   The 2nd Annual Halloween Spree at the Glazer Children's Museum seems like a great alternative though.

Open to parents and kids, this fun, safe Halloween event is a great way to get the little ones their trick or treat fix while enjoying all the cool exhibits at the museum.  Halloween Spree goes down on Halloween day, October 31.  From 4:30 till 6 there will be a tots trick or treating session for kids 4 and under followed by the rest of the event geared towards kids from 4 to 12.

Kids can bob for apples, hear spooky stories, play games, take part in the costume parade, and much more at Halloween Spree as well.

Admission is $5 per person.  For more information, visit the Glazer Children's Museum website here.  Even if you can't make it to Halloween Spree, Glazer Children's Museum is a great place to bring your kids and explore for a couple of hours.  Check it out soon!
