Ybor City's Centennial Park will play host to the 7th annual Festival del Sabor on Saturday, September 15 from noon until 5 p.m. Translated to "Festival of Flavor", this event returns every year to promote Hispanic culture in the Tampa Bay area.
A number of activities will take place during the event including the "Senorita Hispanidad" Beauty Pageant, activities for the kids from MOSI, an amateur Arroz con Pollo recipe/cooking contest, and music performances by local musicians Danny Lozada and Kike Barrios. There will also be a contest to select the Tampa Hispanic Heritage Cultural Ambassador.
In addition to the fun and activities, there will be an expo featuring a handful of Tampa Bay businesses like bakeries, Latin cafeterias, restaurants, other food and drink vendors, and much more!
This free event is perfect for all ages and is very family-oriented so bring everyone out to celebrate Hispanic culture in Ybor City with Festival del Sabor!
