Returning to Tampa's MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre, alt-rock station 97X brings a star-studded lineup to the 17th edition of the Next Big Thing music festival. Gates open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd.

Saturday's rundown includes Magic Giant, Arkells, The Aces, and the two big ones... X Ambassadors, and The Lumineers.

Sunday, 12 more bands will take two stages including Barns Courtney, Vinyl Theatre, Misterwives, Joywave, Mondo Cozmo, Andrew McMahon, Saint Motel, Portugal. The Man, Bleachers, and then the highlights of the weekend... Walk The Moon, Vance Joy, and Paramore.

All set times and stage assignments will be announced exclusively on the 97X app during the week. So plan on getting there early and staying all day!

97X's Next Big Thing is no stranger to jaw-dropping headliners and acts. In 2006, NBT welcomed My Chemical Romance who had multiple singles atop the Billboard charts during the time. In 2011, Foster The People performed America's #1 song at the time "Pumped Up Kicks" as seen here.

This year's monumental lineup is sure to put concertgoers in a frenzy and flocking to the Florida State Fairgrounds in droves. Could this be the biggest and best Next Big Thing... ever?

Tickets are on sale now and start as low as $35 for a single day pass. Both one and two days passes are available for purchase as well as an option to upgrade to VIP for both days. Keep in mind, general admission seating on the lawn is on a first come first serve basis. Parking for the event is $10 (cash only)
