A few weeks ago, we made the announcement of the Bourbon and Brew Fest 2013 that is to be held at The Heights Waterfront on November 23rd. Well, after much anticipation, Tampa's first festival devoted to whiskey is finally almost here! Stage setup has already begun in preparation for what is expected to attract more than 3,500 people.

A day full of bourbon, beer, and barbecue....no wonder the festival is expecting such a mass turn out. The event is sponsored by Jim Beam, and will begin at 3pm, ending with a special fireworks show at 10:45pm. Guests can expect live band performances, games, a mechanical bull, a great selection of craft beer, and over 40 bourbons to choose from. More than 10 distillers will be represented such as Maker’s Mark, Wild Turkey and Knob Creek.

For those who are a part of VIP, you may want to get to the festival as early as possible, that is if you are a true bourbon fan. The VIP Grand Bourbon tasting area will have available a limited supply of the rarest bourbon in the world, Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. People search everywhere for Pappy which sells for $130 a bottle.

To keep the party alive, live bands will be performing all day long. Headlining the event is the country rock music duo, LoCash Cowboys, with supporting acts from The Mojo Gurus, Southern Train, and solo artist Grant.

It's going to be an exciting day for whiskey fans, and it can all be enjoyed at an affordable price! General admission is $25 at the door, or if you want the best bourbon experience possible, purchase the Knob Creek VIP Grand Bourbon Tasting Experience. Advance tickets are only $85 and will grant access to the tasting area where that rare bourbon will be, along with unlimited samples of over 40 brands of bourbon/whiskey.

Not only does your money contribute to your day of fun, but it also goes toward a great cause. Ticket proceeds will benefit the Bruck Family Foundation.
