Apparently Bush kinda likes this little Tampa Bay area of ours.  Two years ago they hit up The Ritz immediately after their 2010 reformation, they headlined the 97X Next Big Thing festival last December, and now, they're returning to The Ritz in Ybor City for a sure to be awesome show on Thursday, August 2.

Bush came to rock prominence in the early 1990's after frontman Gavin Rossdale and guitarist Nigel Pulsford met and decided to join forces at a London nightclub.  Soon after, the duo had a band in tow and found immediate success with their debut 1994 album, Sixteen Stone which went 6x multi-platinum according to the RIAA.

They went on to be one of the most commercially successful 90's rock bands with hits like "Glycerine", "Comedown", "The Chemicals Between Us", and more under their belt.

Bush disbanded in 2002 after the commercial failure of their 2001 album, Golden State which only sold around 380,000 copies in the U.S.

In 2010 they returned with the album, The Sea of Memories and a tour soon to follow.  Since then they've toured extensively and recently had their song "Into the Blue" featured on The Avengers soundtrack.

Bush's upcoming show at The Ritz in Ybor City is a must-attend for any fans of grunge and 90's alternative rock.  Tickets are $38.50 and go on sale Friday, May 11.  To purchase tickets, visit The Ritz Ybor ticket page or Ticketmaster.
