Looking for free things to do outside in Tampa this summer? Well, if shiny metal cylinders and custom paint jobs really rev your engine, you need to be at The Preserve at Alafia in Riverview on Saturday, July 7. Premium Car Shows will be on site to judge a car and truck show, giving away 85 awards and the grand prize of $100 and a trophy.

For those just coming to drool over stock and modified cars and trucks, you will not be disappointed; past Premium Car Show events throughout the Tampa area have been packed with all makes and models, and owners standing by to proudly show off their cars and answer questions.

If you have a sweet whip of your own, there is still time to enter the show. The entry fee is $15 to pre-register or $20 day of show. Go to the Premium Car Shows website for more details.

This family-friendly event is free for those not entering the show and will be held at The Preserve at Alafia, located at 10110 Gibsonton Drive in Riverview, Florida from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 7. Friendly dogs on leashes are also welcome at the event and are free to use the community's pet agility center.

In case you get a little hungry while you're there, the community will provide hot dogs and refreshments to attendees and if you're interested in the community, friendly staff will be on site to answer any questions.

So, if you were looking for free things to do outdoors this summer in Tampa, this is a perfect family-and-pet friendly opportunity to get out, see some sweet cars, grab a hot dog or two, and soak up the Florida sun.
