Celebrate Tampa's rich and remarkable history while benefiting Special Olympics Florida at the second annual Cigar Night, Thursday September 24th from 6:00 - 8:30pm.  This year, Special Olympics Florida will pay tribute to the unique Cuban culture and influence surrounding the cigar industry in Tampa. Enjoy an evening filled with live entertainment, food, drinks, and of course, cigars!

Special Olympics Florida aims to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities. They serve over 26,000 athletes who are trained by 1,700 volunteer coaches and are supported and by more than 17,000 event volunteers statewide.  Through the program, "athletes are able to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community."  Participation in the program is free for athletes.

Grab your favorite Panama hat and head down to Ybor City for food provided by the Columbia Restaurant, Ulele and Goody Goody, wine provided by Constellation Brands, live entertainment, and cigars by OLIVA. Cigar Night is free to attend but donations to Special Olympics Florida and/or athlete sponsorships will be accepted at the event.
