On Thursday, December 29, kids will be able to clown around to their heart's content at the Glazer Children's Museum.  That's because Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey clowns are coming to town to teach their famed Circusfit classes from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Developed by Ringling Bros. and The President’s Council of Physical Fitness and Sports, Circusfit is a national youth fitness program that "encourages America’s youth to lead healthy, active lifestyles by combining the fun of circus skills with stretching, strength building and aerobic exercise."

This group of hilarious clowns will teach kids how to make fitness fun by demonstrating various circus activities they can do at home like juggling, stretching, and balancing acts.  These special Circusfit classes will occur at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Aside from the great events held there like Circusfit, the Glazer Children's Museum is a super-fun family destination boasting over 170 "interactivities" that are both fun and challenging for kids.  12 themed areas provide tons of entertainment so the little ones will be occupied for hours. Normal admission prices to the Children's Museum still apply ($9.50 kids, $15 adults) and Circusfit classes come at no additional cost.

So, head out to the Glazer Children's Museum on Thursday, December 29 and show the kids that fitness can be fun with Circusfit!
