We've talked before about the sheer awesomeness of women's roller derby in Tampa with the Tampa Bay Derby Darlins. Well, this Saturday, August 27, you can party with them as they gun the Delorean to 88 and taking you back in time for their Derby Dancing 80's Dance Party.
Going down at The Dog's Bollocks in Ybor City, the Derby Dancing 80's Dance Party is the place to be if you think those neon spandex pants, leg warmers, or white, Don Johnson-like jackets have been sitting in the closet just a little too long. Plus, you'll get to rub elbows with a number of the roller derby girls from teams like the Switchblade Sisters, the Cigar City Mafia, Tampa Tantrums and more.
Derby Dancing starts at 9 p.m. Cover is $10 at the door and $7 if you're rocking an 80's-inspired get-up. Once you're in, enjoy a free PBR as well as a costume contest, sweet moves from LED hula hoopers and breakdancers, raffle prizes, drink specials and more.
Ticket for the Cigar City Mafia v. Switchblade Sisters bout on September 10 will also be available at the event.
