After months of anticipation and rumors swirling about regarding the 1st Annual Gasparilla Music Festival, officials have announced the first wave of artists that will perform at this Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park festival on Saturday, March 10.

Headlining the fest will be Providence, Rhode Island folk rockers, Deer Tick who will be playing in support of their latest release, Divine Providence, as well as the Rebirth Brass Band, who've been playing their original brand of Grammy-nominated New Orleans brass for over 20 years.

Brandenton's own Have Gun Will Travel will also appear at the Gasparilla Music Festival alongside Alvin Youngblood Heart, The Lee Boys, Kaleigh Baker, and more artists that will be announced in the next few weeks leading up to the festival.

General admission tickets to the Gasparilla Music Festival are $15.  VIP tickets with exclusive access are $75.  Both can be purchased on the Gasparilla Music Festival ticket page.  The festival will go down on Saturday, March 10 from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. rain or shine.
