It was quite at party at Ferg's Live on Cinco de Mayo! In conjunction with Give Day Tampa Bay, Fergs Live hosted the Animal Coalition of Tampa for Cinco de Give-O, an ACT fundraising extraordinaire.

The Animal Coalition of Tampa (ACT) has had quite a struggle this past year. They lost their clinic and their three house cats to arson last year and are raising money to build their new home.

Ferg's Live was filled with Fundraising, Games, Selfies, Fireball, Corona, and Mustaches galore!

First for the good stuff. ACT raised $24,907 and still counting! We were there when  Reeves Subaru of Tampa presented a check for $11,000! Wow!!!!

Other business donors included Le Méridien Tampa, Camden, The Bonati Spine Institute, Red Brick Photography, Soho Hounds, and of course Ferg's Live!

Spark, a new app that gives back to people by rewarding them with discounts to local businesses when they donate to charities, chose ACT as their pilot charity on Give Day.  They ran the "donation room" and were able to raise $275 though their app!

There was lots of fun with Fireball Whiskey!

And a Frozen T-Shirt contest with Corona:

We all thought it would last a long time, but this winner was a pro!

And walked away with this awesome Corona cooler!

The Lovely Meredyth Censullo was the MC, she was looking great in her 'stache:

Reeves Subaru donated $1 to ACT for every selfie posted to Instagram or Twitter with their awesome ACT Mobile. We haven't gotten a count yet but we saw a lot of flashes going on!

Of course, there were dogs galore. It was wonderful to see Cabella, the dog ruthlessly shot and tied to railroad tracks earlier this year, make an appearance.  She was with Dr. Katy Meyers, one of the Veterinarians at Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Service that saved her life!

And then there were 'staches, lots and lots of 'staches!

All in all, it was a great night!

Many thanks to Ferg's Live for hosting the event; the sponsors who donated products, time, and or money; and huge thank you to everyone who came out and donated at the event or donated online. ACT is an awesome organization and we're all so appreciative of your help!
