Grillsmith, the contemporary American restaurant group with five locations throughout the Tampa Bay area, will premier a new food and wine pairing event at their South Tampa location from today, Monday November 26 through Sunday, December 2.

Located at 1108 South Dale Mabry Hwy., Grillsmith will offer a bountiful assortment of food and wine pairings from their  diverse menu of new American cuisine, drinks, and more.

Start your meal off right with one of Grillsmith's many house wines ranging from whites to reds, sangrias, and more.  Some of these include whites like Schmitt-Sohne Riesling, Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio as well as reds like Sweet Bliss Sweet Red, Meiomi Pinot Noir, and Bogie Merlot.  Or, go for one of their classic wine flights where you can sample a handful of Grillsmith's wines in one go.

Grillsmith will also offer customized wine flights which you can customize and pair with appetizers for only $19.95.

When it comes to the dining side of things, Grillsmith's got a brand new assortment of appetizers and small plates perfect for pairing with one of these great aforementioned wines.

New appetizers at Grillsmith include Voodoo Cheese Fries ($5.95) – seasoned fries, New Orleans style white barbecue sauce, smoked gouda, cheddar, swiss, andouille sausage, green onions, cilantro sour cream dip – and Spicy Thai Chicken ($7.95), a spinoff of their classic Spicy Thai Shrimp appetizer.

Grillsmith also now offers small plate versions of many appetizers and entrees as well.  Some of these include small takes on their Stoli Ravioli($7.95) with grilled chicken and ricotta cheese tossed in Stoli vodka tomato cream sauce as well as Chimichurri Steak ($7.95) and Center Cut Sirloin ($6.95) with mushroom Marsala wine sauce.
