The holiday season is fast approaching. Before you know it, the Tampa Bay community will be knee deep in holiday parties, gift giving, special sales, and much more. Hyde Park Village is no exception. They're hosting a number of holiday events throughout November and December perfect for adults and kids alike.
Enchanted Tree Lighting Ceremony, Nov. 25 - The Enchanted Tree Lighting Ceremony is a free, family friendly event that kicks off the holiday season. Watch as the all new holiday display is unveiled and enjoy live entertainment, refreshments (cookies, cider, hot cocoa), drink specials, a cigar stand, and much more.
Santa's Cottage, Nov. 25 - Dec. 24 - Bring the kids and visit Santa in his cottage. Head out, enjoy the winter wonder land, and get a professional pictures with Santa. HOWLiday Block PAWty, Dec. 15 - Bring the pooch and celebrate the holidays with everyone's four legged friends. Enjoy live music, drink specials, fun pet photos with Santa, and a raffle table with some great prizes. Best of all, proceeds from the HOWLiday Block PAWty benefit the Humance Society of Tampa Bay. A $10 donation is suggested at the door.
Chanukah in the Park, Dec. 21 - Head to this family-friendly Chanukah celebration hosted by Rabbi Mendy Dubrowski of Chabad South Tampa. Kids and adults can take part in the lighting of the giant Menorah. In addition, enjoy kosher wine, latkes (potato pancakes), doughnuts, gelt, cotton candy, arts and crafts, face paitning, live music and a raffle table. Proceeds benefit Chabad South Tampa.
