Halloween is getting closer by the day and there's definitely no shortage of great, spooky Tampa events going on to commemorate this famous October holiday.

Howl-o-Scream 2011 at Busch Gardens is definitely one of the most notable and a fun, scary time for anyone seeking a thrill around Halloween.  For weekend-long periods running from September 24 until Halloween, Busch Gardens turns into a whole new park loaded with features to both spook and delight the nighttime crowd.

Enjoy (or be terrified by) "scare zones" throughout the park where and your unsuspecting guests can get spooked by any number of the scary characters lurking in the shadows.  Drop in to any one of the six haunted houses at Howl-o-Scream 2011 and prepare for ultimate scares as you navigate through these dark, close quarters hoping nothing jumps out at you.

Some of the haunted houses at Busch Gardens include the Zombie Mortuary where you navigate through an abondoned funeral home infested with the undead, Nevermore for a strong dose of gothic terror, and  Vampire Casino where high stakes games will get your blood pumping...just how the vampires like it.
