It's baaack, Tampa Bay. Howl-O-Scream, Busch Garden's famed Halloween season celebration is returning for its annual run from late September through October this year.
Howl-O-Scream 2012 will boast a theme titled The Dark Side of the Garden as it frightens and entertains anyone from Tampa or beyond who wishes to enter. This year, Howl-O-Scream will premier with a Freaky Preview Weekend from September 21 through 22. Both days will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and feature all the once-a-year attractions that make the event so great.
Guests can traverse the narrow, dark pathways of seven different themed haunted houses this year including two brand-new ones; Blood Asylum and Circus of Superstition 3-D. Asylum will feature an insane asylum setting with a "creature" on the loose while Superstition will feature a 3-D tent of terror with some truly state of the art frights throughout all corners.
Other haunted houses at Howl-O-Scream 2012 will include Nevermore, Zombie Mortuary, Ultimate Gamble, Nightshade Toy Factory, and Alone; an extra-special haunted house where, for a small, additional fee, guests get to enter all by themselves and navigate the house all alone.
In addition to the haunted houses, Howl-O-Scream 2012 will also feature various scare zones, walking hordes, and shows all throughout Busch Gardens.
Beginning with the Freaky Preview Weekend, Howl-O-Scream 2012 at Busch Gardens will occur every Friday and Saturday evening from 7:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. until Saturday, October 27. Tickets range in price depending on time of purchase and passholder privileges at Busch Gardens.
Walk-up tickets are $79.99. Advance online tickets for the Freaky Preview Weekend (September 21-22) are $34.99, $29.99 for park pass holders, and FREE for platinum pass holders. Advance tickets for the rest of the weekends are $54.99 and $34.99 for Busch Garden pass holders.
