The summer is not quite over yet, and good thing.  That gives Irish 31, the contemporary Hyde Park Irish restaurant, enough time to put on Summerfest 2012.

Taking place at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa on Saturday, September 8, Summerfest is an all-out, all-day festival and concert that will feature performances from from American Idol winner David Cook, Edwin McCain, and Clearwater native Juliet Simms just off her 2nd place victory on The Voice.

The festivities kick off at 1 p.m. with concerts from a handful of musical performances from up-and-coming and local names following shortly thereafter.  These include Simplified, Shane Meade, Matt Winter, and Amber Lynn.

There will also be a cornhole tournament going on throughout the day at Summerfest 2012.  Round up your best partner and you'll get a chance to win a $3,000 cash prize if you take the top spot.  Participants are required to register in advance for the cornhole tournament.  To register, visit Irish31.com and find the "Register for the Cornhole Tourney" button at the bottom of the page.

In addition, there will be great food and drink available from Irish 31 and much more throughout the day.

Tickets to Irish 31 Summerfest 2012 are only $20.  VIP tickets are $100 and include all-inclusive food/drink, private restrooms, artist meet-and-greet, private VIP tent, and more.  To purchase tickets or simply get more information about Irish 31's Summerfest 2012, visit Irish31.com.
