It's May and the smell of Margaritas is in the air! That means the beloved Tampa Bay Margarita Festival 2015 is getting closer and the entertainment lineup was just announced!
This year it's bigger and better than ever with 7 bands!!!! Headlining the Festival is the Multi-Platinum, Grammy Nominated band Smash Mouth! With memorable songs such as "All-Star," "Walkin' on the Sun," "Then the Morning Comes," and "I'm a Believer," as well as a a new CD "MAGIC", they're sure to put on a rockin show!
Next up is Mighty Mongo, a 5-piece rock band from Central Florida. Veterans of the Vans Warped Tour as well as support for Reel Big Fish, they're sure to bring some Mongo to your Margaritas!
Southwest Florida natives, Supros, churns up the funk inducing, foot-tapping, indie rock.
Florida based phase5 specializes in music from all genres including pop, rock, jazz, Motown, soul, and more. phase5 has recorded 2 albums since coming together in December of 2009 and plays shows across the country.
With influences rooted in many styles, Lions After Dark is a band built upon tight, fiery instrumentalists and a triumphant, explosive female singer. The band draws from elements as diverse as the blues, metal and musical theater, combining them for a live experience that differs each night. Widely hailed as a rapidly up-and-coming talent, this show is not to be missed!
Wildly popular Tampa based band The Black Honkeys have been voted “Best Local Band in the Tampa Bay Area” in Creative Loafing’s “Best of the Bay” Reader’s Choice Awards for the past three years. Performing together since 2001 they have toured both regionally and nationally and play over 200 dates a year!
Orlando based Lovestruck Robot recently released a music video entitled “Smoke Show.” It’s an upbeat feel good song, featuring the pop vocal talents of singer-songwriter Jace Magee. See it at Margarita Fest!
