Longtime fans, recent converts and everyone who just wants to join in the fun are welcome to gather in Ybor City tonight to root, root, root for the hometown team and help the Tampa Bay Lightning bounce back with a critical win against the Washington Capitals at the Coors Light Game 3 Watch Party.

Centro Ybor invites fans to get the pre-game festivities going at 6 p.m. and get fired up for the 8 p.m. puck drop with the help of live music, the always lovely Lightning Girls and the always-ready-to-party ThunderBug, plus some giveaway goodies. Three big screens will broadcast every second of what promises to be an epic battle that evening. Look for the screens at 16th, 17th and 18th streets. To accommodate what will surely be a large - and lively - assembly of the Lightning faithful, Ybor's famous 7th Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic.

Sure this round of the playoffs has gotten off to a less-than-promising start, but that’s no reason to give up on the season. If anyone can bounce back and bring Game 5 back home to Amalie Arena, the boys in blue can do it.

And that goes for bringing the Stanley Cup back to the Tampa Bay area for a return visit! It was 2004 when the Lightning defeated the Calgary Flames to lay claim the Cup for the first time.

The Coors Light Game 3 Watch Party is free to attend. With plenty of good food and tasty beverages available from the great selection of bars and restaurants based in Ybor City, fans should have no problem keeping their energy up and their thirsts in check.

Consider taking the trolley to Ybor that evening or find parking in a garage for a flat fee of $5. Otherwise, locate a flat lot for a $1 per hour parking rate.
