Prost, Tampa!  As the fall season approaches, we can look forward to some great weather and a handful of great events throughout Tampa Bay including the one and only Oktoberfest Tampa 2012.

This massive, traditional German celebration is gearing up to take place at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa from October 12-14 with tons of delicious beer, German cuisine, live entertainment, games, and more.

The festivities kick off on Friday, October 12 at 4 p.m. with a variety of seasonal German beers and authentic cuisine that will be served throughout the weekend.   Traditional German Oktoberfest beer boasts an average alcohol content of 7 to 8 percent, so you should be able to feel the authentic spirit of the celebration in no time if you catch our drift - especially when they're served in not only 16-ounce pints, but huge 1-liter mugs as well.

Oktoberfest will also feature a handful of traditional German games including keg toss, stein holding, carry the wench, and corn hole for all guests at the event to enjoy.

If you're looking to go all out for Oktoberfest Tampa 2012, VIP tickets are a solid choice and come packed with a handful of extra features to make the weekend a guaranteed great one.  VIP daily passes are $45 and include a 32oz Oktoberfest Tampa Dimpled Stein full of tasty beer, exclusive VIP seating, VIP bathrooms, and VIP Express Gate entry.
