Oktoberfest Tampa is set to return with a variety of German-inspired beer, food, games, entertainment and more at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa from October 11-13.

Head out to Curtis Hixon for a huge beerfest much like the original in Germany where hundreds will gather for a weekend of culture and fun.

The main attraction at Oktoberfest are the huge portions of German beers served up in two sizes: the half-liter (16 ounces) and the huge, 1 liter “Mass Beirs”.  This year, a variety of different beers will be available to purchase including Beck's Oktoberfest, Krombacher Pils, Gordon Biersch Märzen and more.

Oktoberfest beer typically weighs in at between 7-8% alcohol, a little more than your standard American beer, so definitely go easy if this is your first time around the block at Oktoberfest Tampa.

In addition to great beers, Oktoberfest Tampa 2013 will feature a variety of live music and entertainment throughout the weekend.  Expect lots of Polka and a mix of other classic and modern music from acts including DeLeon Entertainment, The Chardon Polka Band, The Alphorn Players and more.

Games are a big staple of Oktoberfest Tampa and they're set to be better than ever for the festival's 2013 run.  Games on hand at Oktoberfest will include a variety of individual and team competitions like Stein Hoisting, Barrel Roll, Grain Toss and more.

General admission weekend passes are $25 for all three days.  Single day passes are $10.  VIP weekend passes are also available for $100 and include a Commemorative Stein with your first drink free, VIP Seating, VIP Bathrooms, VIP Entrance / Express Gate Entry and more.
