If you love poker and love helping people too, then this is the event for you!
On May 18th at 6 p.m., the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs will be featuring a charity event to benefit the Jesse Heikkila Foundation.
The foundation was created in memory of a Jesse Heikkila who - at age seven - passed away after a five year battle with Stage IV Neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that forms in nerve cells.
The buy-in for the event is $100, which includes dinner, access to raffles and prizes, and helps an incredible organization that raises funds and awareness for childhood cancer.
All are invited to come out and support the Jesse Heikkila Foundation, even those not playing in the tournament.
Proceeds from this event will go - on behalf of the foundation - to support The Neuroblastoma and Medulloblastoma Translational Research Consortium (NMTRC), a group of 18 universities and children’s hospitals headquartered at the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital that offer a nationwide network of childhood cancer clinical trials.
