Avast ye! By now, you're surely making plans for Tampa Bay's largest fireworks display of the year. The annual Gasparilla Childrens' Parade fireworks show lights up the sky over Downtown Tampa on Saturday, January 20th. So how does viewing the extravaganza in the sky from the Yacht StarShip dining cruise sound? Join Yacht StarShip for a 2.5-hour cruise featuring DJ entertainment, dancing, fantastic views from the promenade deck, reserved table seating, a three-course seated meal, and of course, the most spectacular fireworks show the area has to offer!

Start off your meal at sea off with your choice of appetizer, such as Fire Island shrimp topped with a Caribbean fruit salsa, creole shrimp bruschetta with melted pepper jack cheese, or stuffed mushrooms. Can't decide which one you want? Enjoy all three with the Captain's sampler platter.

For the entree, take your pick of southwestern-style shrimp and crab cakes, rosemary and garlic roasted chicken with an apple cinnamon glaze, ground veal and beef meatloaf wrapped in crunchy bacon, slowly braised lamb shank, fresh catch of the day served with wild rice pilaf... hang on, we're not done yet... a bone-in roasted pork chop stuffed with goat cheese, or a cooked to order 8-ounce. Black Angus tenderloin filet. There are options for vegetarians and vegans, too -- try the vegan gumbo or the roasted vegetable lasagna.

Of course, dessert is not to be forgotten on this cruise and you can enjoy apple streusel cake, white chocolate bread pudding, chocolate truffle cake, or pumpkin pots de creme to compliment your meal under the brightly and colorfully lit sky.

The cruise and freshly prepared cuisine from the Yacht StarShip executive chef and galley staff is $79.95 for adults, $39.95 for children 12 and under. If you want that lil' pirate of yours to tag along after the Children's Parade, kids four and under can hop onboard free of charge.

Yacht StarShip will begin the boarding process at 5:30 p.m., with departure set for right about 6:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and park in the main StarShip lot, located in the Channelside District of Downtown Tampa. The cruise is expected to return to home port at approximately 8:30 p.m.
